This is a picture from the summer of 1952, in front of our house in Sörbyn. The people are from left to right standing: Fred (about to be 6 year that summer) in front of his father Bengt (Egons only living son), Egons sister Lydia (visiting from Stockholm), Marie (being 2 years that july) in her grandfather Egons´ arms, Egons sister Antonia and her husband Elias. Sitting down in the grass are Nancy with a little boy ( I don´t remember his name but he was not Nancy´s son) in her arms and Fred´s and Marie´s mother Sonja.

Egon and Elias were together in the State of Washington 1907 – 1911. They worked as loggers sometimes together with Axel Anderson. During that time they very often visited Egons uncle August Anderson in Seattle.
